Temper Temper, Bullet For My Valentine

And so, on my doormat this morning, was the long awaited (signed!!!!) CD from Bullet that was Temper Temper. Of course, after hearing Riot some weeks ago I had a taster of what was to come. So, this morning on the release date of their CD, I put in my earphones to see what was done.

After three albums, I thought to myself that maybe this CD wouldn't be quite full of angst as their other albums are. Well, I was wrong! They delivered exactly that - angst and hate. Of course, frontman Matt Tuck doesn't scream as much as he used to, which is what would be missing if there was anything, but that can't be helped. However, it is still a work of art.

Opening track Breaking Point begins the CD perfectly, conveying anger from the start! Who can criticise a bit of angst to begin a new Bullet album? I can't! Although, I have to admit, Dead To The World briefly calms things down beautifully. Briefly. When the second half of the song kicks in, however, angst all over again! I can easily say this is one of my favourite songs on the album!

So, another success from my fellow Welshmen. I do have a strong love for these boys, so whether this influenced my opinion, I don't know, but I think most committed Bullet fans will agree they have done it again. They should be very proud!
